Framingham Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event is Sept. 23

A household hazardous waste collection event will be held for Framingham residents on Saturday, September 23.

FRAMINGHAM - A household hazardous waste collection event will be held for Framingham residents on Saturday, September 23.

Homeowners who wish to dispose of items that can contaminate local water sources and can cause toxic impacts across the environment are invited to safely dispose of them at the DPW Operations Center along Western Avenue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Waste that will be collected include pesticides, bug spray, devices that contain mercury, and aerosol paint.

Proof of residency within Framingham will be required at the event. A full list of what is and is not acceptable can be found by clicking here.
