Four residents recently were presented with Framingham Senior Heroes Awards.
Residents gathered at the Callahan Center on Thursday, May 23 for the fourth annual Senior Heroes Awards ceremony.
Four senior Framingham residents were selected by the Framingham Senior Hero Award Team--an initiative of the city’s Council on Aging--for their volunteer efforts which have impacted the quality of life within our community. There are four awardees in total across four different areas of focus. We caught up with a few of those awardees who stopped by our studio to discuss this honor.
Carol Lach received a 2024 Senior Heroes Award for her involvement in culture and arts.
Meanwhile, Judith Grove received a 2024 Senior Heroes Award for her public service.
We'd also like to recognize the two other winners: Cynthia Villanueva won the award for Social Development, while Maureen Dickey was recognized for her contributions in healthcare.
